Our Bandido Brothers who have perished after Vietnam

" Their Names Aren't On The Wall "

These men, we knew in Vietnam,
Bandidos, brothers all.
Gallantly, we fought the enemy,
as Bandidos, we stood tall.

When their year was up,
We said good-bye, to those returning home.
And now we try to remember them,
in the words of this simple poem.

The Lord has called, these brave men home.
They are heroes, one and all.
In our memories, they will always live,
though, their names aren't on the wall.

The People

"Quietly"

Quietly, they've come and gone.
Names, and faces from the past.
No marching bands, no buglers call.
They've found their peace, at last.

In a distant land we fought a war,
Unpopular, to some
We proudly answered freedoms call.
In our hearts, we know we won.

Now, as we answer our makers call,
to enter heavens gate,
triumphantly, forward they go,
While quietly, we wait.
