By-Laws of the Bandido Charlie Association

Revised April 2008

Article I – The Bandido Charlie Association (BCA) is a Non-Profit association. It will be a free, no dues paying organization. As a Non-Profit association, under IRS regulations, BCA is authorized to accept and issue tax-exempt donation letters for amounts not to exceed $5,000.00 annually.

Article II – Any member of the military who served in Charlie Company of the 5/60th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division, Charlie Company of the 1/16th Infantry, 1st Infantry Division, or who is currently serving in Bandido Charlie Company of the 1/16 th Infantry is automatically a Regular Member of the Bandido Charlie Association.

Article III – The Association is open to all other members of the 5/60 th or 1/16 th Regiments who wish to become Associate members of the association. Additionally, any current or former member of any US military service is welcome to join the association as an Associate Member.

Article IV – Associate membership is automatically awarded to dependents and survivors of Regular Members of the Association.

Article V – Designation as an Honorary Bandido may be awarded to surviving dependents of Bandidos and to other individuals who have gone “above and beyond” in support of Bandido Charlie and/or Bandido Charlie Association. All Honorary Bandidos will automatically be enrolled as Associate Members of Bandido Charlie Association.

Article VI – Honorary membership in Bandido Charlie Association may be awarded to individuals seen fit by the association officers who do not meet the criteria for regular or associate membership.

Article VII – Designation as an Honorary Bandido is at the sole discretion of the serving association officers and the serving Bandido Charlie Company Commander.

Article VIII – Any expense incurred by the Association will be paid for by donations.

Article IX – Software or hardware used for any purpose of the Association will be at the expense of the individual and will not be paid for by association funds unless approved by the President and Officers of the association.

Article X – The association owns and maintains the Bandido Charlie domains cited herein, and assumes complete responsibility for the content of the Bandido Charlie website, accessible at the internet domains: www.bandidocharlie.org and www.bandidocharlie.com. The Bandido Charlie website, and content, is owned and operated by The Bandido Charlie Association, Copyright 2008, all rights reserved.

Article XI – The membership information contained in the website will be governed by the association officers.

Article XII – Officers and special appointees of the association will serve the association free of charge. They may be reimbursed for extraordinary expense such as materials and/or shipping mailing expense.
